I was banned as an alt to an account that I purchased an electrostatic executioner from through paypal.

He traded the item first to me so there wasn't really an issue of trust. The chat was also through steam messenger but I don't have screenshots of those chats because they are irrelevant. Also the second image shows that he is in fact not on my friends list anymore.
