I was sold 3 earbuds via paypal for 33$ each (Proof below) with a "Non refundable" note attached. Later he tried to sell me more buds but I rejected sending him anymore money as it started to seem suspicious (Though he had no SR marks at the time) and he pushed the 3 other buds he owned on me and told me to send him the money later. (I accepted them because at the time I realized he was a hijacker and didn't want him to sell it to anyone else.)

Quick note: This was awhile ago on I hadn't listed a scammer report since about 30 minutes after the profile had already been labeled. I did make a ticket the day of to steam for the return of the owners buds that I payed/received from the hijacker. Waited about 3 weeks with no response and no trading since my money was held in a good amount with these buds. (Also, since I didn't have enough proof at the time I made a steamrep general discussion thread asking what my next step should've been.)

IMPORTANT: I eventually did sell the buds so I could continue trading since it was highly likely that steam just duped the buds back into whatever account it was taken from, but updated my steam ticket saying I was willing to pay compensation at the current market prices at the time I had bought them (38$-42$ USD). I have recently gotten a response and am currently working out how to clear any part of this from my name.

I would like to note that I am in no way apart of this hijacker - I could have easily taken the buds and not reported anything. My profile remains mark free and I was never contacted about it from steam during the 3 weeks (not to blame steam as I am sure they get plenty of tickets that they have to read). I just want to come out of this with hands free as I have been building my reputation for a year now and it seems my goal to look good for the community is being tossed out because I reported this.
