Help (Scam)

Hello,

One of my friends who I known well in real life told me a way that I COULD transfer steam funds through trade offers. I believed him there and he told me what to type in trade description. I wanted to buy something off a guy and he spotted me and he thought I was scamming him. I was quite confused. I did not know this was a scamming method and now this guy (I forgot his name) is going to report me My common sense sucks. What do I do? I did not mean to scam him nor did I KNOW it was a scamming method.

Please help me

If you have screenshots of the chat with your friend, you should provide screenshots of it and you could try and report him in the report a scam section (make sure to read this first).

Also you should stop being friends with him IRL.

As you can see in his inventory he has scammed 7 CS:GO knives worth 100+ USD each

Whatever you do please do not permanently ban him! Its complicated to say but I owe him something in return of my TF2 Unusual.

Please make the ban/ trade ban anonymous I do not want him to know its from me or I will cease to exist (exaggerating)

Can't edit posts for some reason, anyways just to let you know the Knife I have in my inventory was received from a weapon case NOT from a scam. I was very lucky at that time.

You need to file all reports in the report section.
