    Description:
He added me today from TF2Outpost, asking to buy 11 buds. I wasn't confident trading with him at first but I saw he was level 42 on Steam, had 600+ games and 10 years on Steam. Not only this but he had 1400+ Dota 2 hours and his backpack had been at larger amounts than 400$ worth in the past. He was happy to go first, I asked him questions such as his name and where he was from just so I was sure it was his paypal. He paid me the money as seen in the picture, then at 4am this morning I find he's initiated a chargeback on Paypal. Lovely

I suppose I know better than to sell large amounts to someone with no rep, but this guy had a lot going for him on his steam account so I deemed it okay. I was wrong.

Screenshots attached of trade history, rep left on his wall, paypal payment/dispute and his profile page...

Spoke with him since all of this happened. In his words he was chargebacked by someone and that's why the money got disputed from my account and is being held by Paypal. He says he will submit a ticket and to sum things up:

☁TTT☁ Strife: Okay. But if Paypal tell you that you can't get your money back, what then?
astrou: well, i'll see, i'll try to sell my some of my dota stuff
He also said he has the 11 buds on a private account of his.

Well, he is trying to sort it out and is cooperating with you. Talk with him and see what can he do. If he bailed then that would be another case but he didn't so, talk with him. I don't see anything to report here until or unless he bails out and tries to hide himself from you.

Keep all the evidence you can get though, it might come handy, if in case he does walk out.

He can't seem to give me much more information than 'we'll see'. I also asked him to take a picture of him both logged on steam/logged ontop Paypal so I know it's definitely his Paypal. He sent me a bordeless picture of was could just be a simulated Paypal page, with the same name but no recent activity.

You say that but at the same time he has a private account that he's keeping the buds on, he's not willing to give them back right this moment, and he logged off after sending me the picture that didn't help me at all. So far I'm the only one out of pocket, especially if he gets the money back from me on Paypal, which he most likely will. If what the guy says is true, and he did get chargebacked by someone else after selling something, he'll probably take the darker path and just keep my buds and delete/ignore me. Can't be certain but this is the most likely thing to happen

i think you should respond immediately......or if you dont respond quickly he might get the money back....i think he is making you wait...so that you dont respond on the dispute...so it makes way more easy for him...so i suggest you to respond to the dispute and explain actual matters to paypal.

Another report has been made on the same person that scammed me. With a differeny paypal email address that sent the payment. So he's using hacked Paypals. I won't be getting the 390$ back or the 11 buds. Hopefully this guy get's marked soon before he does any more damage.
