I had posted on TF2Outpost and via SteamTrades that I was looking to swap gift copies of Portal, Super Meat Boy and Dead Space for CS:GO. I was contacted by the scammer while I was in-game in TF2, so I didn't do as much due diligence as I should... although I did check his reputation here which was clear.

The scammer told me that he would trade my copies of Dead Space and Super Meat Boy for a non-tradable copy of CS:GO. He said I could look at his rep on his profile for confirmation, which I did and he had 9+ pages of +1's from all different accounts.

So, I traded him my copies of the games in-game and he said he'd be emailing me the details for CS:GO. He then promptly blocked me. At this point I exited my game of TF2 and Steam crashed (just my luck), so i could not catch a screenshot of the conversation.

My steam name/url is my real name so verify my identity at will. I've included a screenshot of my initial trade to get the games (traded Dota 2 gifts) as well as the scammed transaction. Lesson learned, but I hope by reporting this guy he can't scam others.
