I have been tagged as SR CAUTION for trading with a scammer. I had an Moon Anger for trade and got a really good offer by someone. I accepted and traded the hat. After few months, I checked my SteamRep randomly and found this '' SR CAUTION '' tag. It says that I traded with a scammer. I knew that the guy is a scammer but didn't knew that trading trading with him would get me a tag. I'm done with my trading and in my 6 months of trading I never scammed anyone but at the end I got this tag which makes me sad. I request SteamRep to accept my Appeal and remove this tag.

Trading with marked scammers is against policy. It is also common sense not to.

'I didn't know' isn't an excuse for going against policy, so as far as I know you'll have to retain your tag for a set amount of time.

Whats the timespan?

I don't get it with you people. You guys only tag when a person trades with a well known scammer. If I had traded with a unknown scammer I'm pretty sure you guys wont give a s✿✿✿ about it. I've traded 2 months ago and now I'm getting the tag? Nice policy. You guys should put this thing on every scammers profile saying '' Trading with this scammer will tag you '' or anything like that to make people aware of it.
And why am I getting a reply after every 2 weeks?
Sorry to say but Steam Rep needs to improve on its so called '' policy ''.

It doesn't matter what kind of scammers you trade with, it's still trading with scammers, which is against policy.

It is clearly written in the faq: http://forums.steamrep.com/pages/faq/

It is also standard procedure to check the rep of who you are trading with before each trade.

Most of the SR admins have their hands full at the moment, hence your patience will be much appreciated during this period of time.

Okay, I kinda realized I pretty much messed up on my posts. :3 After talking to Zion I do realize I was wrong about blaming. Anyways, I apologize for that mess i've made up there. Just keep me posted.
