    It was not the bug. It was a well-known feature that people used in order to talk in third person. However, some people decided to use it in order to scam.

    Sorry, your appeal is denied. It was not a "prank"-- it was a robbery attempt. You tried to scam someone out of items -- SteamRep exists to warn the community about thieves.

    Hopefully you won't continue to try to steal from people-- if Valve had caught you, they would have trade banned you on Steam.
