What happened? Description:

the person added me and told me he wanted to buy my 2 buds for 75$
he then said he dont realy trust me so we should use a middleman and he also asked me if i got one of friend that can meybe be middle man after i sended him my friend profile he told me ok and he wanted me to add him to chat group so i added the friend of mine that is supposed to be middleman to the chat group
then he (my friend) sended me trade and i gave him the buds
after that i told my friend to give not give him the buds until he give me the money
my friend answered what buds?
i saw there are 2 names of my friends and the one i traded with was some random person that changed his name and picture to my friend name (he copied the "middleman" details) i saw there is no chat history (because it was fake account)
after that i just knew i got scammed because i clicked the person i traded with and i saw it was fake.
i also didnt see any one in my friend name adding me
that mean i was targeted.​

What about some info that I can have my friend post about him losing money from same person. I can provide screenshots of his backpack showing the buds when he had them when they disappeared and the unusuals he bought from other scammers and the screenshots of those disappearing as well. All of this of course in a very short period of time. Appearing to me he was moving out to other alt account(s)

This guy also tried to scam me, I knew it was too good to be true so I didn't fall for it though I can't really provide evidence sadly

ye with few peoples getting scammed by him i still wonder how he isnt ban i realy wish for him and his alt accounts to get banned or atleast tag of something

Hey guys, i just traded the guy for my unusual. he paid 150$ smooth as hell?!?!?! However afterwards i looked here and saw this, questioning him now...He tried the same trick about using my friend as a middleman but none of my friends were steam rep middlemans so i declined, thought nothing of it?!?!?! did i miss something?

***EDIT*** He has made a claim to the money through paypal. -rep a scammer
