    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198103566010 (Q_PLS)

    Victim profile: 76561198050561646

    What happened? Description:
He added me fairly suspiciously. And told me he had laggy internet. Offered a Scorching Fed Fightin' Fedora for my Antifreeze Fed Fightin' Fedora. His reasoning was he liked AF more and told me he bought it from a friend for 350 (his currency) He then followed to trade me multiple times. I asked for the item history to see if his hat was duped or not. Making sure it was okay, but he had nothing else in his backpack apart from crates. He traded me about 4 times and on the last time he quick-switched his scorching one out for a steaming one. I then clicked complete trade. I assume this is an alternate account.

    Provide Evidence:
This is the evidence of the scam.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this but I'm here to provide, which i believe is, strong evidence that 76561198103566010 (Q_PLS) is an alt of 76561198093666948 (Do Not Relax)
I've posted screenshots as proof for my claim in an album on imgur.com here: http://imgur.com/a/cpAz6
I've also uploaded them in this post if you do not wish to click on the album link.

Steaming Fed Fedora history2.PNG Bud history from Do Not Relax.PNG Bud history from Do Not Relax 2.PNG Do Not Relax's BP.png Q_PLS backpack on April 3, 2014.PNG Scorching Fedora history.PNG

I started by looking at the history of the steaming Fedora Transplant has gotten instead of the scorching fedora and the last owner on outpost was The Top-Notch Acquaintance, http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2481954184,780,5 (First Screenshot of the trade and history)
By looking at the history from one of the buds Acquaintance is currently selling, the last previous owner is Do Not Relax and from there, I drew the conclusion that Relax bought the steaming Fedora from Acquaintance. http://backpack.tf/item/153953305 (second and third screenshot) But why isn't Do Not Relax's name in the Fedora's history you may ask? There's a slight delay in updating the ID number of an item when the person's bp is public. It's the same for renaming/describing/painting an item you just traded for and your name will only appear once in the history if you do it quick enough, otherwise, you'll see your name twice in the history for 2 different ID numbers. I am assuming that right after Relax bought the steaming Fedora, he set his backpack to private to prevent bp.tf or outpost from being able to register his name into the history of the fedora in their systems.

The last time Relax had a public bp was just yesterday, April 5th, and the contents of his bp was revealed here: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198093666948?time=1396681200
In the 4th screenshot and in the link, you can see that he owns a scorching fed fightin fedora. In the 5th screenshot, you can see that Q_PLS had the scorching fedora on April 3, 2014. http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198103566010?time=1396508400
Seeing that it's a new item in Q_PLS's bp, it seems like Q_PLS is used to store items like the scorching fedora by looking at the history of it and seeing how Do Not Relax and Q_PLS names appear multiple times. (Last screenshot) http://backpack.tf/item/963379037
If you compare the dates the scorching fedora appeared in Q_PLS's bp and Relax's bp, it matches the dates in the history where Q_PLS is the last known owner. By now, it's probably back in Relax's bp which is now private once again. (extra link: http://i.imgur.com/KSsANmd.png) Date and time is at the bottom right hand.

    @Transplant #scammed

Can you take pictures showing all history from the day of scam? In order to verify that you showed it all, we need to see at least one trade that happened before the day of scam and one that happened after? Also, can you please hover over the items that were exchanged in the trade (I mean the scam) so we can see exactly what items they were?
