Description: The Pancho guy added me because he saw my trade on TF2 Outpost. I add him and we have a brief discussion and he says his friend is interested and would pay more so they started a group chat in which they tried to make me give the unusual first and then when i said it was an attempted scam they get upset and unfriend me.

Just wondering if this has been looked at yet. it has been a while and i have noticed ones posted on this date have already look through just making sure this was not missed.

He tries to make me give the unusual to his friend then he says he will give me the buds after. I feel that that is a clear scam attempt.

While this definitely looks suspicious, as Ace said, there's not enough here for a scammer tag. One of the things we need is solid evidence of a motive. If I talk to the community where he says he is affiliated and they come back and it turns out he lied, that would be solid enough evidence due to him implying he has a position he does not- and hence a solid evidence of motive. Either way, I will be informing his supposed superiors of his actions and his shady trading practices, as well as the fact that he has been reported and came extremely close to getting a mark.

I will, however, be talking to some of the admins of TF2-Trader to review what is going on with this particular fellow. The fact that he is trying to use this to leverage a sticky transaction does not sit well with me, and I imagine would not sit well with the other admins there as well. I will make notes about this and archive it. Thank you for the report.

Actually, looking at his name history of Razor, it looks even more suspicious so I have given him a caution tag. His friend stays with just notes for now but I will be watching his account as well.
