What happened? Description:

Selling a gun , placed the trade offer up on CSGO Lounge
Got an offer from the accused for 122keys

Added him, and talked for a bit, asked that I refer him to a trusted friend of mine so that he can have proof that I won't cancel trade before he acquires the keys (makes little sense I know but I went along with it)

After confirming with my friend that I am indeed trustworthy

"9:39 AM - MYFRIEND: So how do you want to make sure you can trust him?
9:40 AM - soliDsk: can you tell something about him
9:40 AM - soliDsk: that can make me feel safer
9:41 AM - MYFRIEND: Um
9:42 AM - MYFRIEND: I"ve known him for a long time in real life
9:42 AM - MYFRIEND: And he's never tried to scam or cheat anybody
9:42 AM - MYFRIEND: He's an honest guy
9:42 AM - soliDsk: ok nice ^^"

He then requested that I trade my friend the gun to confirm that we're friends or something.

We ran along with it, suspecting scam, and made sure that it was my friend I was indeed trading

After receiving the weapon, the accused then creates a 3way chat between himself, my friend and an account imitating me, and told my friend to trade "me" the weapon back as he was happy with the levels of trust.​

You can clearly see my profile picture in the 4th [4th picture], with "A Half-Based Hall" as a previous alias,

And in the [3rd picture] of the trade featuring my friend, the scammer and the accomplice, you can see the real me in the bottom right with a nickname (Matt) and in the 3way chat which "I" (accomplice) entered at 9:49AM, there is no nickname.

That would work!
