What happened? Description:

First of all i had 2 spare #40 salvaged I was wanting to sell, saw his trade on outpost buying them, so i added him. I told him that i was selling those and then when we wanted to trade steam was down -_- therefore he sent me a trade offer then i thought i saw the correct trade but after i accepted and went into tf2 to sort out my bp, i realised that i had my crate collection aswell and saw that my #50 was gone :/ so i readded him and told him that he too k #40 and #50 instead of 2 x #40, then he was like oh sorry didnt realise so he was at first wanting to trade it back but again steam was down -_- so i had to send a trade offer. after time has passed i realised i still hadnt recieved it back so i went into trade offers and realised that he declined while in chat he was still online in chat but on my friends list he wasnt there so i knew he had blocked me after many attempts to get his attention, then i got pissed off and blamed steam for this lost -_- so really this balls guy accidently put it into trade offer instead of #40 but then became bad after he realised :/
then i added the only person online in his friends list and told him to talk to him about it and return it but it didnt go so well as he got removed aswell.
then i told my friends what happened, and tried to get them to add him and persuade him to return but he just ignored them so i just got more pissed off, then i had to go to work.
End of Story

I was hoping to get this back, i know you guys said u cant get items back, but could u attempt to persuade him to return by saying ur a steamrep person and that you will give him bad reputation if he doesnt do it plz :3

I once sold spec KS strange instead of regular strange because I too didn't check the trade offer content before accepting that.

eeeeeer id rather not especially it was part of my crate collection :/ and its value is double the #40 value
if it was something lower than a key i would consider it a gift otherwise in this case i wouldn't of made this report

We should persuade him like he's a young virgin girl?
He didn't do it intentionally, the best the worst SteamRep can do is CAUTION tag for "Shady or deceptive trading behavior, but not a major offense".
I wouldn't tag him that way if it was up to me, but let's see what SteamReps admins will say.

he didnt do it intentionally at first but he could just be saying that to act innocent and when he told me to send him a trade request he blocked me and ran so it is intentional

Well, I can understand him. It's like you won a raffle, but then the raffle holder shows up and says that he put wrong, too expensive item as the prise and he needs it back. A few keys is a good enough reason for some people to decline.
There is still just a possibility that he intentionally put wrong crate in offer, but we'll never know.
