What happened? Description:

Accused asked my friend to get a middleman for an Unusual/Bud trade. Added me, asked him for my profile, and the accused had his friend change his profile to mine quickly and offered a trade pretending to be me. My friend traded the items away and both people immediately removed us both and mocked us for the whole scam.​

Lastly, in your screenshot of the trade inventory, there appears to be no trade involving ear buds and unusuals, is this the correct screenshot?

1. No, my friend doesn't have the knowledge to screencap everything he did. I was barely able to get that one out of him because he rage closed everything.

2. I'll see about getting that from my friend, I had no contact from the fake middleman.

3. Yeah, it's my inventory, proving that he in fact did /not/ trade me anything, and that the middleman impersonated me to get the items from my friend.

This happened to me too, by the same user today. Here are some screenshots. http://i.imgur.com/FiXhFqS.png and http://i.imgur.com/eKX9abG.png they added me yesterday, and this other user who impersonated my friend kept wanting my unusuals to get "Confirmation and Proof" for buds... http://i.imgur.com/QHRTQmF.png Priceless was the friend he posed as, but right as he un added me, I looked and saw I had two pricelesses. I then asked my other friend what the hell was going on, and that was it.

He tried to scam me also, making a extra profile with the name of the middleman i was using.
