Description

He first started off by adding me, letting me know he wanted to record the trade to make sure I wouldn't steal his money (he wanted to "buy" an unusual via Paypal). He says his dad will send that video to the police if I do anything funny. At this point, I was already suspicious, but continued to see where it was headed. Once I cracked and just blurted out that he was a scammer, he became all defensive and started to "diss" me. At this point, he also mentions that he's made $720 off scamming! At that point, I called him out and he never responded.

TeamViewer? It's a program used to spectate/take control of someone else's computer, if you both have the program, and you allow them to. It's only temporary, and you can end the control at any time.

can they close your program and hijack you? this sounds VERY UNSAFE

No, they don't have the control to do that. I personally have used it with friends to help them set things up. It can be unsufe if you don't know/trust whoever you're using it with. I don't believe they can hijack the computer.

With the amount of scammer reports that come in, as you can see, SR is a little backed up in dealing with these as they take time. Please be patient and they will come to this report eventually.
