    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Trading with marked scammers or hijackers
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198060561462 ()

    Victim profile: 76561198005593006

    What happened? Description:
He's fencing. The report won't fit into this box (has over 10000 characters) so I'll put it below. I've been preparing it for a while in a separate document.

    Provide Evidence:
    I'm not a victim; just a reporter.

1: I'm aware that this fence regularly checks his SteamRep because he's always fearful of reports such as this one. I eagerly await when he... I mean, his "friend" informs him about this one just like the others.
2: I'm aware that this is a SteamRep forum which will likely be spammed by people farming post counts. This is a long report and I know that those people don't read but just mindlessly paste (when it's not relevant) "Hi, Please provide screenshots of your trade." I'm not going to trade with him. He's a fence. I'm reporting him for fencing. He regularly buys stolen items. If you're not contributing anything then please restrain yourself here. I rarely submit SteamRep reports because they're always spammed with stupid comments and I just don't want that this time.
3: I'm aware that this report will be ignored by many people as a too-hard-to-read report. However, I'm still determined to publicise this fence's activity through this formal report. Again, if you're not willing to read it then please don't post anything that isn't added evidence.

I'm going to begin by making it clear that I'm reporting the following person.

    | steamname: [F2P] Lone Knight
    | steamID32: STEAM_0:0:50147867
    | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198060561462
    | customURL: http://steamcommunity.com/id/HolyTiger1
    | steamrep: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198060561462

I've attached a screenshot of his SteamRep page. [Fence'sSteamRep] He was a rather standard trader until he his first public fence (at least on Outpost) when he acquired hijacked unusuals. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19487413 This is the historical moment where his fencing began. The first comment there even commented on those hats' origin. After this point, he was instantly aware that he had just bought stolen unusuals (if he wasn't already).

I will now procede through his Outpost trades in chronological order and identify the hats that he bought from scammers (there are a lot). I wasn't following him until a few days ago so there are likely more. I only have the ones that were sold on Outpost and the other ones only beginning from when I first encountered him.

This trade is currently in the speculative category (may have been sold quickly by other fences in between) but it's still clearly being fenced quickly due to its history (fear not; the evidence becomes a lot more conclusive as we come closer to now). http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19848973 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2603098824,313,5 https://steamrep.com/?id=76561198071829822 It had just been hijacked.

Now we proceed to the definite fencing straight from scammers. Please see both of these hats. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19855168 They're straight from the "I need a proof" middleman scammer. http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198126309006 http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.65907/#post-183077 I will regularly refer to that scammer as the "I need a proof" scammer as he is this fence's primary supplier. Here is proof that this fence bought directly from the scammer. http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198060561462-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.66633/ (Scroll down to post #18 and see the second image.) Thank you to Mister Fence for providing this evidence for me. (Thanks, genius!)

Now begins the fun. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19913775 See the first comment. By this stage he was aware of where his items were coming from. Please note that that one's from http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/661741 (from above), http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/654597 who is another account of a tagged scammer. https://steamrep.com/?id=76561198124531399 Before the fence bought this hat, it was from this account. http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198131596952 This seller's backpack: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198131596952 6.2 TF2 hours: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198131596952 SteamRep reports: http://forums.steamrep.com/search/3523658/?q=76561198131596952&o=date That person has already been found to be either fencing directly for the scammer or another account itself. http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.65809/#post-182827

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19940396
Smoking Medic's Mountain Cap: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2615741331,381,5 Bought from: http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/76561198135339376 Please note that he's a storage account of: http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198135329434 He currently has items that are swapping between those accounts but may move them later. If he does then it doesn't matter. We will later prove that that last account mentioned there is the "I need a proof" scammer.

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19953802
Smoking Prancer's Pride: (Let's start demonstrating our ability to use more than just Outpost's histories! We'll need to do this later. So far I've just been listing Outpost histories because they've been sufficient.) http://backpack.tf/item/890463550 Please note who that hat is from. http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198135358156 http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/76561198135358156 http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198135358156 With 0.1 TF2 hours, I'm going to go ahead and call that account secondary. See post #2 here. http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.65689/#post-182643 There be the proof of Mister Fence buying from that account.

See these hats. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20041798 They're all from: http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198135329434 http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/76561198135329434 (That account currently contains the following hats: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2648655397,30105,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2648655410,253,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2648655416,30041,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2648745984,617,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2650051250,30031,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2650051258,30057,5 Let's look at those later; they may take us to either this or another fence.) That account: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198135329434 Only no TF2 hours. If that account seems legitimate to you then I don't know what wouldn't. He has been found in multiple scammer reports. http://forums.steamrep.com/search/3523715/?q=76561198135329434&o=date Again, we'll see this account selling multiple hats to Mister Fence.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20102740 Brown Bomber: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198121785381?time=1401553553 There's nothing interesting (to SteamRep) there; just sharked or something. I just thought that it'd be fun to include that as a nice break before the rest.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20115998 Sunbeams Hard Counter: Please note that at this stage, I myself have pointed out that he's fencing stolen hats. He claims to have not known but he does now as he has now been informed and responded. I informed him, also, via backpack.tf: http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198060561462 He's since modified it a few times but he has demonstrated that he noticed that with the standard "I'm innocent!" response. http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198005593006 For the hat itself, we need to use backpack.tf's item history. http://backpack.tf/item/1138528921 I'd like to point out that the fence demonstrated (by responding to mine) that he knows of backpack.tf's reputation comments. The account that he bought this hat from already had such a comment. http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198135329434 After I pointed out its history on Outpost, he simply started a new trade with it. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20121288 Consider the third person's comment (he's hiding any mention of his items' histories).

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20130063
Triboniophorus Tyrannus: http://backpack.tf/item/1648287012 Proof that he bought it from t14: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198060561462-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.66633/ See post #11.
Handyman's Handle: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2644382856,253,5 Bought from: http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/659827 That is the account of a tagged scammer: http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/643989 http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198121914146 http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198121914146-offline-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.65294/ Oh, look! It's the "I need a proof" scammer.
    Hottie's Hoodie: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2644371086,377,5 Straight from t14.

Here are three more hats from t14: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20089088 Please note where the Bunsen Brave's from. http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/609088 http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198117604346-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.66537/ He's only not tagged because SteamRep doesn't have enough time to look into him but Valve will eventually give him a trade ban for Steam wallet scams.

Here's a Bill's Hat from t14: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20127466 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2642935385,126,6 At this point I'd like to point out that in other SteamRep reports/everywhere else he keeps insisting that he's allowed to trade freely with t14 because that account isn't tagged and it isn't known with certainty that that's the scammer. I'm therefore leaving, here, an official message to Mister Fence (on record): That is the "I need a proof" scammer. Now you know.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19974280 We've seen some of those so here are the ones not yet mentioned (and still fenced): http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2621568352,52,5 from http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198131596952 and http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2621568418,390,5 from http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198131596952 also.

Viewing the screenshots that Mister Fence has so kindly provided for us here http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198060561462-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.66633/ show other trades with the t14 account. Here is where I made sure that Mister Fence was aware of his actions. Here's where the conversation that I've uploaded screenshots of occured. [Fence 01-7] Now he had been made fully aware of what he was doing. Even if he kept forgetting every other time, I very definitely reminded him that he was fencing at this stage. Surely he'd stop buying any hats that were offered to him cheap enough.... Hell no! He's new Raxshi!

Look at this account. http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/76561198125304239 (Currently holding: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2650583015,30031,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2650583018,652,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2650583024,314,5 Let's watch those later, too.) http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198125304239 No TF2 hours. That's quite clearly a secondary account. http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2646614427,382,5 I was about to tell Mister Fence NOT to buy these hats. http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2647043392,102,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2647043386,150,5 However, he did so as I was typing it. Obviously I can't prove my intentions but you may find that documented in post #5 here. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tf2outpost/discussions/0/540743212639710497/ There you simply have my testimony as a witness. I was refreshing that storage account's backpack page on Outpost when those hats disappeared and went to Mister Fence.

With those last three purchases, he has quite clearly demonstrated an intention to keep buying from scammers. It is largely because he wanted me to just be quiet and let him go that I've been so dedicated with this report. When he had people privately pointing out what he was doing, he just typed abuse at them and carried on. It's only in the other SteamRep reports now, after I've bombarded him with evidence PUBLICLY that he has began with his promises to stop. However, you'll see quite clearly in my conversation with him that he is quite proud of his recently-gathered collection and he wants me to just shut up so much so as to type this sentence to me. "This is none of your buisness as these are none of your hats, that you cannot afford (all sic)" (That's quite untrue; I'd much rather have my backpack over his, plus my real money that'd easily buy him out. However, that's another story not suited for this report.)

In my concluding words, I thank anyone who did actually manage to read through all of that. It is my belief that if nothing else, he should be given a warning tag due to his acknowledgement that he was buying stolen hats (in the conversation with me) yet continuation to do so afterwards (those last three hats at the very least if he forgot about the earlier warnings from multiple people) while thinking (hoping) that I wasn't watching.

When I have enough time, I will continue with my own private investigations into him. However, since I've already found 25 stolen hats that he has fence and am now having trouble with identifying which ones I haven't covered yet, I need to make a new list including the names of the unusuals. This will be beneficial to both myself and also anyone else investigating him. Where possible (i.e. where I can find the unusuals), I will use the backpack.tf history because it allows us to see Mister Fence's backpack at the time. These 25 are simply the ones above with names included. Again, this list only comprises of the hats that he bought from accounts with no more than 10 TF2 hours.

You're so dumb.. I posted those screenshots because I am not aware and have stopped. I did not do the scamming, no. I bought it for relativity quicksell prices (40-45%).
You have basically repeatedly report me for the same thing at the same time on the other thread. I had never had this happen to me and I wouldn't know any better..
This time to be CLEAR AGAIN: I HAD NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME, THIS MEANS REPORTS. "Thanks, Genius!"

Also, noting the "http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20102740 Brown Bomber: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198121785381?time=1401553553 There's nothing interesting (to SteamRep) there; just sharked or something. I just thought that it'd be fun to include that as a nice break before the rest."
No, It was not sharked. I trade my C9 Hong Kong 14 Buds and a Key for it. Therefore, being a fair trade as the Brown bomber is 13.5.

Okay, so you bought the one hat on the list that I wasn't actually reporting you for. Good for you. You still have 26 more to address. Also, I'm going to paste here a point that I made in this other thread. http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...eam-fortress-2-items.66633/page-2#post-185675

"Also, I would like to know why this is you "experiencing all of this for a shockingly first time" and that that didn't happen when someone pointed it in the first comment here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19487413 or the first two comments here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19913775 or in my comments here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20115998 or during our big, long conversation. http://imgur.com/a/Erv6W Were you still not aware of where your stock was coming from? Here you've acknowledged having read those messages (by responding to them). However, after all of that you still went and bought from the scammer some more. You then bought these hats. http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2646614427,382,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2647043392,102,5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2647043386,150,5 Oh! I'm sorry! Did you say that you were only made aware of what you were doing now?"

The phish fence was at the end of April. The Cloudy Moon Respectless Rubber Glove was almost three weeks ago now. The Sunbeams Hard Counter was almost a week ago now. However, you still went ahead and bought three more from your lovely friend. Also, you still need to address the 26 hats that I listed for you above. Those are what this report is about. (Also, you should stop calling everyone stupid for reporting you.)

--- or do you simply mean that you thought that you wouldn't be reported and that this is the first time that that has actually happened? In that case, you've implicitly admitted that you would've continued doing so happily if you weren't reported. That's what fences do; they hope to go uncaught for as long as is possible and make as much profit from stolen items in that time as they can. If that is what you mean then this report is warranted.

    27. Smoking Magnificent Mongolian http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2603098824,313,5 It had just been hijacked.

Added evidence: I forgot to explicitly mention (I showed it above but it needs to be emphasized) another case of Mister Fence having been informed about what he was doing. I informed him on his backpack.tf page. http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198060561462 Before he was banned, rather than desist he simply insisted that I was accusing him of something for which he was innocent. http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198005593006 "The dude is jumping on people for no reason, lack of evidence, and ruining players reputations that had done nothing." Despite all of the hats that he had fenced by this stage, he continued to insist that he was doing no wrong.

First post here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20109537 Refusal to even mention where his hats come from.

The claims by Mister Fence that he didn't know about checking profiles for potential secondary accounts are absolutely refuted by what follows in this paragraph. If you still doubt his guilt then read this. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16948693 Please scroll down to the posts by Wirefist ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/402850 in case if that name changes later). In particular, see his second (hidden) comments. Mister Fence refused to sell him keys for money due to his lack of TF2 hours. Mister Fence shows there that he has known, at least for a few months now, how to tell what accounts are potential scammers. "I have told you multiple times, I have come to the conclusion of not to trade with you as you have spammed my trade and my IM on Steam. You have no rep at all, 2 pages of comments, level 3 profile on steam and only 300 hours on TF2. I am sorry that I could not trust you and hopefully, someone will get over your act of ignorant self and maybe trade. Good luck."

Also, this is something else that needs investigating (for later). Please see the last post here. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20009397 Someone accuses Mister Fence of owning this account. http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/76561198125337751 https://steamrep.com/?id=76561198125337751 http://forums.steamrep.com/search/3...c[node]=3 43 34 60 35 36 37 38 41 42 39 52 17 That account is involved with "I need a proof" scammer. http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198125337751-freemen-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.66244/ http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198125337751-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.66778/ I will leave this aside for now and investigate those accounts when I have more time to (maybe I'll find more fenced hats).

The importance of his denial to sell keys to Wirefist is: There he has demonstrated that he is fully aware of how to check someone's Steam profile and TF2 hours. He demonstrates knowledge of using such observations to determine whether or not he's talking to a potential scammer. This immediately refutes any claims that he has made about not knowing that he was trading with secondary, scammer accounts. He suspects that person of being a scammer without that person having been SR-tagged. Best of all, that was in March. He needs to rethink his "I didn't know! They weren't tagged so I thought that they were safe!" responses.

I did stop when I realised all of the reports and negativity from just buying unusuals.. That's why all of the unusuals you stated are days old (just like the report) and I haven't bought since. Also, I do not own any Alternate accounts and I can assure you those aren't mine.
No, I never realised the importance of checking profiles even for just regular tf2 trading with unusuals and items. I've been told it's important to check for paypal trades which I haven't done in quite a while after being scammed of 65$ once.

Answer this honestly: Just those 27 that I've found or are there more that I'm still going to discover?

I'll accept no answer as a denial that there are more.

I haven't traded for any Unusuals and have ignored in the last 2-3 days and all you have found are older ones.
I would not know that it is this important to just check a profile just for trading for unusuals.. It's the same thing of going onto a Unusual server/trading server and when someone trades you just for an item worth keys, do you check? No, I don't and I don't see anyone else doing it. Plus, if you are a real trader you would know the feeling to just get rid of something you've been trying to sell for while a while now.. Like for example, Bill's hats which are a pain. Paypal trading is a different type of trading that consists of real life money and is risky as there are scammers while Steam trading is just a system with no exploits and slip-ups. That's why I only knew to check on Paypal, I have sold keys for money and for this to happen, I had no intention of knowing for all of this to emerge from such a simple thing.
Also about the people "commenting", I closed them as I thought it would ruin my chance of sales..
What would you do if you were in my shoes and people basically told you you had scammed items when you actually paid for it? Like any other normal human being, you get offended or furious.

I'm very aware that you deliberately didn't answer my question. You should know me enough by now to know that that was a trap.

    32. Orbiting Fire Bonk Helm http://backpack.tf/item/523593970

You just bought that Orbiting Fire Bonk Helm yesterday, after this had all started, after you had been warned multiple times, after your backpack.tf ban for doing just that and after you had been told that t14 (who you bought from) was the scammer's account. You just did it again!

We are up to 32 stolen hats that you've happily fenced, at least four having been after these SteamRep reports began. You got told with the first two from the hijacker. You keep doing it.

I'd also like to bring to attention that that Orbiting Fire Bonk Helm shows very clearly an intention to keep fencing for the "I need a proof" scammer. Mister Fence has started using trade servers or other contacts rather than Outpost where histories are saved. Despite the multiple promises in these SteamRep reports to stop buying from that scammer and despite the insistence that he'll check who he's trading with henceforth, he is continuing still.
