What happened? Description:

Well, he added me and then told me he wanted to buy my unusual. Despite his atrocious grammar I managed to get that he wanted to buy it using buds, but his backpack was private. I inquired about this and he said nothing, so I investigated further. Backpack.tf had nothing to say (he had no items) and he began to speak again. After some small quarreling, he told me to wait, when I looked up his steamrep profile and the thread accusing him of the same thing he was about to try on me. It was then that he deleted me and the conversation ended.

It is an attempted middleman scam. but there is not enough proof without him faking your friends account.
