What happened? Description:

I believe this person attempted to scam me through a fake paypal offer. He offered on my Unusual Reggaelator w/ It's a Secret To Everybody worth around $1100-1200 yet his backpack did not even amount to a fraction of this - it seemed that he had nowhere near enough time/items invested into TF2 to be buying items of this quality.

I took the liberty of making several screenshots of our chat that sadly shows not much proof of him actually being a scammer, but proves that I did nothing wrong myself (except for insulting him slightly).

I also told him that I'd made a "10 part trade with USAFMike" where either of us could've walked out. This is entirely true and can be verified with USAFMike - it was at a time when the trade servers were incredibly laggy/glitchy and so we transferred items in parts.

I will attempt to get USAFMike to post here.

This post is not an attempt to get him banned for scamming, but a use of proof to defend myself as I do not want to be wrongly punished for sticking to the rules of my own trade.​

Upon closer inspection it appears they were not a scammer - I looked at their steamrep profile.
I admit I was wrong in being so rude and will attempt to rectify this in the future.
I should not have been so quick to judge and monitor the other trader, and I am sorry for wasting SteamRep's valuable time.

I was in a skype call with PL_Pusher the whole time this was happening. I listened intently after i heard that someone was going to buy his Regge. Now this whole thing with people reporting each other has got me confused as i have read the chat an i see nothing wrong apart from that the Captain guy has still not offered a price and his backpack is well 'poor' so i think it is reasonable to predict some sought of scam or bad offer.

This whole situation seems like a massive gaggle.

But I will vouch for doing a trade that had a ton of parts to it with you as Steam trade for some reason couldn't handle large amounts at the time. In the time I've known you, you were nothing but pleasant to talk with so I wouldn't worry about this guy. Just looks like you guys had a disagreement that lead to misguided accusations.
