    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198138186581 ()

    Victim profile: 76561198068604742

    What happened? Description:
    A person with a private profile added me to buy a steaming attendant I was selling. He said he wanted to pay my buyout of 20 keys but wanted assurance that I wouldn't trade it before he got them. He said that he wanted a friend of mine to hold it until he purchased keys. I told him that my friend Shinyninetales would hold it until he was ready. He then added Shiny and told him to get online. The scammer then invited me to a party chat with an alt that had copied the profile of my friend. He then invited me to trade with the alt and attempted to steal my item. I then confronted him with his attempted scam and he then removed me. I've seen this scam before firsthand, so I knew what was coming. I have attached picture proof of this scammer​

    I have provided evidence of this scammer and his alt that he is using to scam with. I have attached profile pictures and chat transcripts, if any more info is require, please tell me. Thank you​

    Just wanted to mention that he tried exactly the same on me I got some evidence as well of course. But I didn't/couldn't really let him to the middle man part because I didn't want to waste my time and my friend didn't really had time as well.

    He just added me and offered 12 pure on my unusual, I noticed that he had multiple reports against him so I turned him down before he could mention anything about friends and middlemanning.
