Basically, I found out today after literally years away from the TF2 trading scene that I was listed as a scammer from a trade in 2010. I remember the trade. The guy wanted my sunbeam shako for 200 dollars. I told him I was thinking about it and we talked but In the end I decided to give it to my friend instead for free and he apparently got butt hurt and reported me without any proof at all.

After looking up my ID on google, I found the thread where he reported me.

i agreed. sent the paypal gift today, and went to trade with plex for the unusual. after he confirmed payment, he sent me a trade request, we set up the trade, i clicked trade now, said thanks man, he said thanks, and then he signed offline.

So basically he was able to report me as a SourceOP scammer a long time ago even though he had no proof whatsoever. I'm sure reporting someone as a scammer you need an iota of proof. Apparently SourceOP didn't need any.
