What happened? Description:

He added me wanting to buy all my Unusuals. He asked for a middleman in order to hold the hats to him until he get the keys. Then when i said: dont waste my time with idiot scam method , he said ok and unfriend me.​

I agree that this is an attempt, but he did not actually go through with it. I can tell you that without him actually impersonating one of your friends that this report will be archived. I will mark ready for review but an admin will have to decide.

Tried the excact same with me, these 2 are definately scammers.

A same guy added me to buy an unusual.

He added me as well. He asks if you will give your unusual to a close friend, so my guess is that he is gonna try to impersonate that friend.

Same guy (different name) added me offering to buy buds for my Unusual on the Steam Market. I told him to post his offer in my trade for record keeping purposes. He didn't respond. I linked this steamrep report thread, and he went offline.

He added me and i pretended to go through with it, i have the whole scam attempt with screenshots.

He asks you to give the unusual to a close friend, then he'll just copy the account name and picture and impersonate the person you've chosen.

Can we judge this ? 1 year past ....
