What happened? Description:

The accused randomly added me, then said that he had a key for The Forest, and would like to trade my gift key Surgeon Sim for the forest, I was wary of them but they seemed legit from all the rep+ they had on their profile, so I decidedto go ahead, after giving him the gift key, then then gave me a cd-key which i then inserted into steam, it came up as invalid key he then left the chat and removed me from his friends list and set his profile to private.Before he changed his profile to private i was able to report him as a scammer via steam.
I know that not alot will be done about this but the more people that are made aware of such sad lonely individuals who cant afford games and resort to stealing deserve banning​

To SR: Not sure if I understood it correctly but if I did, the "new" SR rule of dismissing and auto-invaliding any cd-key related scam report is pretty... how do I put it... dumb, sorry.
I'm very glad I checked Ari.Ari's profile here, because he tried that again, with me. If this report was already closed and "invalid", it probably wouldn't pop-up on his SR profile page and I'd get scammed for sure.

In order to report the account to Valve, you have to:

1. Visit the accused's profile
2. Click "More" drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose "Report Violation"
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click "Submit Report".
