What happened? Description:

They created a trade thread on /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade subreddit looking for a knife. I sent a steam friend and we started chatting and negotiating, it looked sketchy as hell from the beginning but I figured I'd try it out who knows. Well of course, they wanted me to go first, I send knife they send paypal. I did not allow this and they kept negotiating, none of us budged, I asked for some trade rep they gave me thier main reddit account ( they were using an alternate account on the subreddit) I checked that reddit account and it was like 1 years old. I kept investigating and eventually I broke down as her lies started building up and did not make sense. I thankfully did not get scammed because I discovered what they were up to. But they sure did try.​
