What happened? Description:

The scammer had a secondhand man who was using SOMETHING to steal items right out of the trade. I traded it to my friend, then i asked him 2 minutes later if he had it. He said no. I later find out when my friend goes online, THE HACKERS NAME shows up when i highlight over it. When he comes back on, its not.​

Provide Evidence:

All the chat boxes are there.
In the trade history, I never traded with the hacker at all. I dont know how this happened, but im going to email valve also. I never traded it, as soon as me and my friend traded, they were gone.​

He was most likely impersonating your friend, go to his account and get a screen shot of the names hes recently had, if your friends name shows up then hes your man.

https://support.steampowered.com/index.php make a ticket here, this person has done the same thing with other users as well, valve will have your items that this user stole if the evidence you provide is solid enough, include the items and all chat that you have with this user. youll have everything back in due time if he is proven guilty.
