What happened? Description:

was trading my slaughter huntsman knife for a huntsman fade. i wanted a blue tip one so when the accused asked me to add extra skins to the deal, i wasn't suspicious. after finishing the trade i discovered that the knife that was advertised in the screenshots WASN'T the same knife i received.​

[UPDATE] issue resolved with seller

We both have the same stuff now, please put it back to normal we resolved everything. I sold my full fade knife with evidence to downgrade and didn't even notice that grimmtower thought it was full fade. Considering that I did not mention it was a full fade, not on the trade itself or in pm. Without inspecting ingame he looked at my old screenshots of my previous knife I sold.

So I was selling the knife, please look at the the trade. He slightly overpaid, not by much but why did he overpay? Because i wanted keys, overpay in skins. Thats how csgolounge works. There was no scam here. Now off to work I hope to see this is gone when I come back

he is right. i am at fault here, i assumed the SS on his profile were the knife he was selling but fade never explicitly said they were SS of the knife. regardless, we now have a new issue.

are items are duped, we both now have Huntsman slaughter and the fade has disappeared.

Happens to me quite a lot, give it a while and everything should sort itself out.

Do one more CSGO trade and, anything in CSGO, and see if it reappears. Its a known glitch.

Do I have to appeal or can I leave it here? We sorted everything out as you can see but he has a new problem that doesn't involve me but with another person. He lost his knife to one of the bot scammers, non related to this.
