What happened? Description:

Well I had put a bud for sale for 16 keys in two places, my tf2outpost: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23222200 and backpack.tf: http://backpack.tf/u/76561198076170767. He then offered me a geniune archamedies and a genuine Texan ten gallon and I did specifically mention 16 keys.​

This forum is more of a place to report scams, this is more of someone ignoring what you listed. If you think he has wasted your time all you have to do is block him and you never have to deal with him again

No, it wouldn't.

Worst case scenario, it would be sharking—this is perfectly legal (and I will admit I made most of my profits by sharking) and SteamRep does not mark people for it. If you accepted the trade, you would be expecting to receive a Genuine Archimedes and a Vintage Texas Ten Gallon, and you would receive them.

Scamming is when you expect to receive the items that were agreed upon but the other person reneges on the deal at your expense. If you were offered $30 in Paypal cash for the buds, traded the buds to the other person, and never receive the money, then that is scamming—what SteamRep actually marks people for.

Please learn the difference between sharking, bona fide scam attempts, and just ignorance before you make reports here.

You were not scammed, no one attempted to scam you, and your entire view of scamming is completely misguided.

At the time I valued that item for 14 keys add the texas ten gallon = 16/17 keys give or take the paint
