    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198143108812

    Victim profile: 76561198013743713

    What happened? Description:
He tried scamming me with the 'fake friend' scam. We talked about the trade, he asked for a middleman. I got a good trusted one, he didn't like him and requested one of my IRL friends. At that point the trusted one (Verloren Führen) helped me to get some evidence and showed me the other report and everything. So I went through with that (being suspicious of this from the start) and then he made the fake "Kermit." account and tried to get my friend to trade him the knife. He started voice calling us and everything. He removed both of us after I called him out and I accidentally stupidly closed my trade chat, but it's pretty clear War machine's (my friend who held the knife) screenshots corroborate my story.

I guess people just can't get enough of this guy.

The accused at first wanted the victim to get an MM, and the victim chose me. When we got all settled in, the accused left the chat-room as quickly as he came in. Noticing the report linked above, I did a little checking and found out the guy uses impersonations to scam. I found a fake Mad-Matt and actually reported him...while the accused was trying to goad the victim to use a 'trusted friend'. Long story short, I pulled the strings on the accused to reveal what I suspect is his alt as the fake MM I reported, changed to impersonate the victim here in an attempt to steal the knife.

My chat-logs and pile of evidence. I wasn't in the chat room because the accused was 'afraid' of me. Trust your feelings, that sorta thing I reckon.

Previous report I made on the fake MM is linked in the victim's report above.
