    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198156745967

    Victim profile: 76561197983311223

    What happened? Description:
    The_Cpt_FROGGY #AFK added me to buy my knife. The name sounds vaguely familiar, I don't know why.
    Anyway, I suggested a price, he agreed and went:
    I had used @SIVARTZ to assist me last time, but he is offline at the moment.
    Suddenly, "KoT6a3lLEO" adds me and says nothing.
    A moment later, The_Cpt_FROGGY #AFK tells me
    That's when I saw that the account that had just added me was now using SIVARTZ's name and avatar and he kept tried to trade me.

    You can check the address from the chatlog in the Bitcoin blockchain. It never received anything.
    I did not lose any items in this scam attempt.​

    Screenshots of chat, trade offer and name history of the impersonator

    1: Chat
    2: Name history of impersonator, including SIVARTZ
    3: My friends list with 2x Sivartz
    4: My friends list searching Sivartz (the impersonator replaced an i with an L)
    5: Profile of impersonator
    6: unrelated, deleted
    7: chat
    8, 9, 10: trade window with impersonator (I didn't actually accept)
    11-13: more chat
    14-15: chat window with impersonator​

    I figured out now why the guy's name sounded so familiar. He's a level 351 user.

    meanwhile, the guy tried to scam someone else and is now trying me again. The impersonator also sent me a trade offer. Note the name change in the chat window.

    He is impersonating a different high-level user now.
