What happened? Description:

SteamID64 of 2nd accused: 76561198071811600

Someone from Tf2Outpost added me to buy my unusual, but wanted to "verify" that it was not duped, so I traded it to my friend in real life, and he wanted to see it in their backpack for whatever reason. He added my friend to chat, and told him that it was all good and for my friend to trade it back to me. It appears that in the mean time, the guy's friend changed his name to mine and change his profile picture to mine, and somehow traded my friend, I suppose through his trade url, and my friend gave it to him thinking that it was me. I have the URLs to both of their accounts and they are even friends.

Not exactly sure how he traded my friend, I know about someone's unique trade url but I'm not sure how to find someone else's.

If more proof/anything is required I'll do my best to provide it.

Here is a screenshot from my friend that i trade the unusual to. The guy keeps changing his name so If more is required here, I'll get it. His original name was copy of mine, Taco`, and then something like GHS medic, and the last I checked it was Llama.

I forgot about the accomplice's aliases so here they are. He's changed his name alot since but my name is still in there

This same guy tried to do this to me, I knew it was coming along since I had many people adding me to try scamming me. But I sent this guy away right away, he asked me if I had a personal friend online and I told him I don't have a personal friend online, didn't want to waste my time.

Also found out that the guy joined a group my friend was in and invited him to a group chat and invided the guy impersonating me to the chat. From there you can simply click the drop down and trade.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I shouldn't have fallen for it. Hadn't heard of this particular trick until now.
