What happened? Description:

This random guy added me, and claimed there was a steam group that hated unusual hats, upon which two are valve admins. He refused to disclose the name of the group, and insisted that he "broker" my unusual to stop them from taking it. Screenshots are attached. No items were traded, this was an attempted scam.​

Note to the admin handling this case: I was contacted by the accused today, and have documented our converstions in the SCA forum.

After reviewing the evidence, there's no clear signs that the user was being serious and or/attempting to scam in a real way, he could as well be trolling.
