I am here to appeal an "attempted scam" that is marked on my profile. Here's how it began: Sometime around July, I was reported for scamming (The thread with a picture is located right here) http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561197990576961-thebloodmaster™.7608/ on September 3rd, it was accepted. This was not a scam, for multiple reasons. Reason number one: the item I offered was obviously a fake, considering it was called "Unusual haunted futankhamun", which somebody as smart as a tf2tp admin would know is FAKE, minus the fact that it is in all caps, number two, the item was in fact given to me from a raffle, so I had no pre-conceived plan to scam any noobs with this item. Number 3, shortly before I decided to pull this trick on the person who reported me, I did it on somebody else, who was selling an unusual, he found out, and we both laughed, (sadly I do not have his name) Number 4, as you can see in the trade in the report, he did not put ANYTHING in there yet when I put the item up, so clearly I wanted to show him as fast as possible, and he noticed quickly. Number 5, (probably one of the more important reasons) who in their right mind would be stupid enough to attempt to scam an admin of tf2tp who has a crapload of unusuals and earbuds, doing so would be insane, considering admins have many connections (as seen in this case) That's pretty much all the reasons I have for the appeal, if I realize any more, I will message/friend the admin who is on this thread's case

P.S, I am no longer in possession of this item, that item is bad luck man!

I am replying to this thread to inform everybody that I paid back a pyrobot's pack, a scrap, and 1 rec to Imphasing, the person who created the report thread for me, this was done to pay him back the equivalent amount of the item's price that I used in his report thread,

to elaborate on the chat, I did some research, and found that the pyrobot's pack is worth 1.33 according to backpack.tf



adding a rec to that makes it 1.66,

after that we add a scrap, which if I recall is like 1.70 or something, I don't really know the math 100% too well, so I tell him 1.66-2 because I'm not 100% sure what that would fully equal,

here is the amount of what a haunted futankhamun costs



as you can see, compared to what I'm giving him, this is almost double what the item is actually worth (I did see the futankhamun going for 1.66 so I wanted to overprice it by quite a bit).

I felt this elaboration was necessary, thank you for reading.

This actually happened for what it's worth.. I'll leave it up to other people to decide if this is worthy of an unmarking

To ellaborate on the previous post,

I do not use masterbloodthe for trading, it's just an alt account I like having around, THE ONLY account I use for trading is my primary account, TheBloodMaster, http://steamcommunity.com/id/Die4Control/

Forgive me for updating, but I was nearly just scammed by a bot link, so as of the date of this post I have temporarily set my backpack to Private, I will set it to public once again in a day or two or when an admin posts requiring more information, whichever one happens first, I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause with my investigation, thankfully however I can confirm as of the date of this post that the scam link failed to actually do any obvious form of scam on my inventory, however I am setting my backpack to private just to make sure.
