What happened? Description:

"I'm not trying to scam you"
Added for the game Valkyria Chronicles, the agreement was that i was to give the 5 keys upfront and he/she would send the game through steam due to the steam update.

Later he/she wanted my email to send it because of "steam error". I, being the genius that i am, gave her 2 of my emails as the 1st one didn't "work". Suddenly Ako could send it through steam.

He/she wanted me to restart steam for the game to appear continuously... which raised my alarms (show below). This time the deal was restart steam and if it isn't there i'll refund. I began taking screenshots at this point.

At this point i gave up and asked for a refund but first told Ako to cancel the "gift". Ako then told me that he/she couldn't cancel it through steam and email so i have to deny it, which is a problem considering that i don't even have it. This of course ended with Ako asking me to restart.

I then asked for screenshot proof that he/she actually sent it emailed to me through the provided emails. I told him to use windows sniping tool to get the screenshots but apparently he/she uses mac and so did I (I lied, googled how to take screenshots on mac).

Sorry this was so long but hopefully this person gets punished. I originally trusted him/her as the profile looked legit. Will leave screen shots of the whole chat plus what the profile looked like which is now, unsurprisingly, private...

I can confirm this guy is trying to scam people.

He adds random users without considering what they are looking for, their Steam region.... and then pretends they go first, doesn't matter how many reputation they have.

I am also a victim. I feel pretty bad about it because we talked for quite a while. For some reason I didn't see the report on his steamrep (the system was down?) when I checked earlier.

Yeah true but I haven't been trading in a while and only really buy others games with my keys. This was my mistake on my behalf. I'm sorry to hear your loss but at least we can band with the steamrep community to retaliate to these scams.
