What happened? Description:

This person added me to trade for my knife. Gut Knife Crimson Web (Minimal Wear.) I asked him to buy me 2 games NBA 2k15 and The Crew for my knife. I asked him to go first but he refused. I went first and traded my knife. He then said his mouse was running out of battery and said he needed new ones so he went and came back. He then typed he was buying the games. I looked in his inventory and the games weren't there. He then deleted me after he said he was buying the games.​

Hello I am the "Scammer" of this man.
I just got my account back and I want to say I am TERRIBLY sorry for everything that has happened here. I was just made aware of my "Pending Report" by a person on CSGO lounge whom I wanted to trade with.
I came here puzzled and horrifyingly when reading what happened.
About a month ago, I clicked on a Phishing link which completely ruined my account. I had also lost access to the email for it and have been waiting for Steam to process my request to get my account back.
I came here to say that it was NOT me that scammed you, aethor. I hate scammers and always will. I am sorry that the attacker used my trustworthy account to steal your knife. But I can gladly say that I had NOTHING to do with any of this. Seeing these screenshots make me sick and I can't bear to think if the things he has stolen from nice people with this account.

I don't know what I can do to repay. But I am hoping you will forgive me, and that this can go unpassed. I do not want this report stinking up my SteamRep because of a hacker. Rep and trustworthyness is everything to me and I really don't want to see that get compromised.

@RedBullSB Have you gotten control of your account back yet, or is it still locked down by Steam Support?

I can access my account now,is there anything I can do? I don't have the Gut Knife in my inventory.

@RedBullSB I believe all you can do at this time is send a ticket in to Steam Support and ask if they'll reverse all of the trades that occurred during the time your account was hijacked, or restore the items stolen. Also, for the sake of the report here, it would be a good idea to upload screenshot of your messaging to Steam Support to show you were indeed hijacked, so that can be taken into account by the staff who process the report.

Where can I find that Steam message now?
Also I don't even own a wireless mouse,like it said that i needed to change the batteries in my mouse.
Also I got all my items back but i did not receive any gut knife back,is it really my account?
It seems weird that I didn't get your gut knife back.

@RedBullSB The messages from Steam Support should be visible in your account on the support website. Did you ask for all your items returned from unauthorized trades?

I even got the 6 phoenix cases that the hacker took along with some of the penny drops you get in game,
Seems very weird why i wouldn't receive the Gut Knife back.

Try messaging support again, ask if you can get the knife back as well, just to make sure.

Ill message them again and ask if there are any other items that can be recovered

If you do get the knife back from support, fix the issue in this report. Be sure to provide evidence of the payment.

Would be nice to receive an item or items that are equal to the price of the knife

I bet it would aethor,but it wont be coming out of my own pocket because you got scammed.
