What happened? Description:

So I wanted to sell my knife and deagle to this trader and he insisted very forcefully that I go first. I did in fact go first and he tried to send money through Paypal. He said he crashed and that I should check. He said he'd try again. He removed me from Steam and took the items and ran away. He said he had many successful transactions and that he had spent years trading. His profile was super old too so.​

So I wanted to sell my M9 Bayonet | Scorched Knife and StatTrak | Desert Eagle Cobalt Disruption to this community trader (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197961780821 ) through a money agreement. I told him to go first and then I'd pay him the items afterwards. He insisted very severely that I give him the items first and that he was trustworthy after a decade of successful trades. I agreed to do the trade and give him the items first. He said his Paypal had crashed and that he'd try again. After he said he'd try again he removed me from his friends list and never came back.

I just want the items reimbursed to me if possible. I have screenshots of the chat and screenshots of the trade history. The victim is (http://www.steamcommunity.com/id/legendaryhof) I've reported the user to SteamRep. Attached are the screenshots for the chat and the proof that the items were lost through my account..

The victim did not lose any money nor did the scammer.

Well, Valve just trade banned the scammer. They could not do anything about my lost items.

I'm glad they came through and banned the guy from trading. I'd like it if he were marked as a scammer now that he got trade banned.

Maybe hunt down his IP and find alts.

Is the possible recipient of my stolen goods. He has 40 banned friends on his list. Possibly working closely with scammers.

Can you please add a screenshot of your PayPal history in full and uncropped. Should keep looking for more alts and accomplices, perhaps many of them can receive a tag.

I think it's much more complicated I went through his friends list and found an account which had a steamrep report for stolen marble fade bayonet and that seems to be in this guy's screenshot so pretty suspicious
