Ok this guy is already a marked scammer and the matter is quite complicated.
He added me because I have a tf2op-trade (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/2614883) in which I offer to buy unusuals for money. He offered his Hearts Luchadore for 60$, which already puzzled me, because even for a quicksell that's really really cheap. I checked him up and saw he was a marked scammer with 12 alts. I decided to go along to see what his take at scamming was, because his profile looked extremely legit (1800+ hours, account older than 6 years, 230+ games). He asked me to go first, I refused, surprisingly he agreed to go first in the trade I added as a screenshot below. I am now holding the hat as long as this is open and somebody tells me what's the right thing to do. Obviously I have no intend to profit from this in any kind of way and my question is what should I do with this hat? I would like to give it back to the original owner, however it seems like GoldP has moved several items quickly and the previous owner of this was not scammed. If there is no solution for this in my opinion there are 5 options as I have no intend to keep this hat or make any kind of profit from it:

    1. I give this hat back to the scammer and just deal with the fact that he is gonna make money off stolen stuff.
    2. I give this hat to an admin, donate it in any kind of way, etc. (I'd really like to just give it to an admin and have nothing more to do with this, because this is already very risky for me)
    3. I give the 62$ to GoldP
    4. I delete this hat from tf2 so at least the scammer doesn't profit from it.
    5. Give it away in a raffle so at least somebody who isn't involved gets some kind of joy from it.

Please let me know what to do, feel free to add me and talk about this in person.

Also I know as long as this isn't resolved I'm considered to be a scammer so please feel free to tag me until this matter is over (which is why I also added my details above).

We don't condone scamming anyone (even scammers). Valve will trade ban you if you do not do right by him, because in their system you look like you are scamming him and not the other way around.

The best option is for you to return the hat to him and then stay away from trading or interacting with marked scammers. It only leads to trouble. :( Very unwise.
