SlyFox added me on Steam, offering me $90 for my TF Logo Festive Tree. I knew something was a little fishy, because my Tree is a 1-1.5 bud hat, so i asked to use a middleman. He said sure, then gives me a fake link to a page where Marty McFly looks like a middleman. ( http://stearmrep.com/profiles/76561198032374986.html )
However, I immediately notice the misspelling of the link, and tell them i know he's not a trusted middleman. They both immediately leave chat and remove me from their friends lists. After a little investigation, i found that Marty McFly has already done this scam many times, and is a marked scammer. Marty's profile page also makes it look like he is a trusted middleman that is constantly being impersonated. I also notice that he has 0 hours of TF2 in the past two weeks.

I can confirm this about few min ago he tried doing same with me ehehe

Both SlyFox and Marty added me trying to buy my unusual. SlyFox offered me $150 for my Scorching Gym Rat and SF rocket which he was suspiciously overpaying for. And Marty added me a day later offering me 2 unusuals, which I later found out to be stolen. About 5 hours after he added me, I checked his BP and he had about 5 new unusuals. I got a little skeptical and checked the history of them. And what do ya know, he scammed all of them. Here's one example: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3096226
He moved all the unusuals to his supposed main account and is now attempting to sell them here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3117382 I hope this situation gets fixed up before he manages to sell those hats.

he just did that too me too about 1 hour ago. i put my Unusual up for sale in tf2 oupost and tf2tp nd this slyfox guy randomly adds me and says to me "ill buy your unusual Scorching Chieftan for 280" after that i already knew something was wrong so i just deleted him.

Tagged the buyer, added notes to the fake MM. Thanks for the report.
