What happened? Description:

I am selling AWPer Hands on backpack.tf and Buzz sent me a trade and as I sell many of them I clicked accept not realising he was selling me one then when I added him he refused a refund and knew exactly what he was doing! By the definition of the word scam this was a scam and he will do it to others.​

I dont know what is this guy's problem , i just sent him a trade offer about selling my awper hand for 3 ref and he accepted it!
Why did you accepted it if you didnt like the trade offer? You know about "Decline" in trade offers so please leave me alone and stop stocking my account and trying to ban me!

You know exactly what you was doing buzz it was dishonest and a scam and against backpack rules, we will leave it up to steam Rep to decide. The chat log shows what your intentions where next time don't be dishonest and rude to fellow traders its not nice being scammed.

"Swagger Jagger XD" remember was the response after you scammed me.

As you can see he brought himself or made himself another AWPer Hand, I am sure he will try scam somebody again with it.

This is a complete waste of an admin/mods time. He sent you an offer to sell his AWP. You bought it. No scam involved. That's like saying, "I was selling lemonade for 25 cents and someone asked if I wanted to buy theirs and I did they are a scammer"

I agree, no scam happened because you accepted it blindly and that was the agreement. A lowball maybe but not a scam.

He knew I was selling an AWPer not buying yet he sent me the trade with the dishonest intentions of selling me one not buying, my ad on backpack clearly shows I was selling not buying then he bragged about it in the chat feed. Its a scam plain and simple.

and if Steam Rep dont see this as a scam then that would mean its OK for me to try sell all my stuff to people who are selling the same item in the hope they don't realise I am selling them the item instead of buying it? I admit the mistake was on my part and I sold the AWPer Hand within 30 minutes but he still had the dishonest intentions and laughed about it afterwards by saying "Swagga Jagger" and "stop crying"so which ever way this report goes and I have it screen shots means it will be OK for me to act the same way in future.

It was a mistake on your part, and not a scam.

Why does the steam community always defend dishonest people? 1,000+ trades and I have helped so many people only for people to try get stuff out of me and I am starting to feeel like "if you cant beat them join them" This report will decide how i act in the future either way I lost nothing but if steam rep deny this application I have alot to gain!

I'm not saying this may not have been a dishonest thing to do on his part but steam rep wont recognize this as a scam because it was "a fault of your own for clicking accept" its something that happened you just got move on and plus think on the bright side it coulda been something more expensive. Or you could have someone impersonating you like I do scamming people and I get blamed and have to defend myself. Unfortunately nothing is going to happen from this post. You just have to be careful out there and that's why they made that update where you have to use your email after you accept the trade. Have a good one and be careful.

Steam Rep can you please clarify your definition of a scam, is offering 1 ref for a 1,144 backpack classed as a scam what is your definition of a scam? I would like to know.

Yes you can offer anything for anything in anyone's Backpack even if its the whole backpack.

lol its actually fun offering people 1 scrap for their backpack and it isnt against any rules so I will have fun with this thanks
