What happened? Description:

Tried to scam me using a PayPal invoice rather than actually sending me the money, then claimed that his money was gone even though he had not sent me the money. I explained to him how I wanted to receive the money but he claimed he already had.​

We proceeded to speak about the price for the knife and ended up deciding on a price of $2000. When it came time to make the exchange he sent me an invoice on PayPal. I explained to him that this was asking for money from ME not him sending me money. He said he understood and I explained to him how to send money via paypal to friends and family. He said he did and that his funds were gone, however I never received any money and still have not. He started yelling at me about how he had been scammed and that what I did wasn't cool and I responded that I haven't received any money and all I got was an invoice from him. He proceeded to remove me and go offline. He then tried to leave negative rep on my account which I deleted.

I do not have any chat logs for this event because I didn't assume I was being scammed until the last part and at that point I closed my chat window and he had removed me, so there is no way for me to retrieve the chat.

I do, however, have screenshots of the invoice I received (that I canceled) and they are attached. View attachment 266711

If there is any more info I can provide, please let me know. If there is some way to provide the chat logs I will do that but as of now I have no way of doing that.​

You need screenshots of the chat, full screenshot of paypal history & the invoice with url bar.

I'm really confused what you were selling that would be two grand.

Why are you claiming to be a mod of /r/globaloffensivetrade?

Why are you claiming to middleman?

Do you have proof that's not your paypal?

If you didn't do the scam, re-add OP and show a screenshot of your chat history.
