What happened? Description:

Font Face attempt to scam my friend snuffles with the quick change username and picture, then try to get me to give him the items scam. Luckily knew of the scam when snuffle came to me asking for me to hold his unusual: A blizzardly storm frenchmans beret.​

Hello @TheDefectiveToaster, if you could, please have your friend reply to this report. As he was the initial victim in this report, we would like his uncropped chats and trade history involving this report. Also, if you could, please provide the ID Blocks of your friend, and the person that may have been impersonating you or your friend as well. Thank you.

I believe the ID blocks are included in the initial report above. I have informed my friend to reply to the thread. Would you still like his trade history considering the scammer was not actually able to get his items?

i dont actually have a screenshot of the logs but i still have the trade up on tf2op offering my hat when he added me saying something to the effect of
"hey, do you still have your hat? if you do could you trade it do a friend you trust, i just want to make sure its clean because sometimes there is a glitch when the hat is only traded once"

Aurum was the trusted friend and he warned me so there was no trading with <font face>

However, there are numerous other reports against this person which are being looked into. I am going to archive this, but I do thank you both for following up with this report.
