I have never chatted with this user, but from his bans on backpack.tf and TF2 Outpost, it's safe to say he bought the hat with full knowledge that it was the so-called "cursed" Team Captain.

Hello guys and Tanner,
it would be smarter to check your proofs before writing a scam report against me, because this Team Captain is duped. Duplicated means that there excists more than one time the same hat with the same ID. Because "bible.tf" can't check which one is which one ,the historys of this item mix together.

The item IDs that tie up link Glo Goku->Dark Warrior, not the random jumble of letters, as that ID is 2XXX not 3XXX.

You can proof what you says? This little chat with Glo can be faked easy! To that, as i said in the chat and which was true, i NEVER traded with scammers! You can see in the screens my full trade history. I never traded with a scammer or scammed somebody, all was legit. You can add Royal too and ask him what he thinks about that he blocked me...

So Mr. Warrior. why do you add me, then set up a trade offer grabbing all 140 of my unusuals. In return for this highly questionable hat? Then after a short while drop the trade and unfriend me? I only wish I could have taken a screenshot the first time I saw the trade instead of checking your profile and steam rep then going back to the trade to find it empty of all items and no longer valid. Oh wait, now I get it. You were going to see if I would fall for such a ridiculous offer before checking you, the friends you keep and the hat out first.
As the saying goes. You are judged by the friends you keep. I think I will side with TheCommieDuck and Tanner on this one. This entire event seems extremely suspicious to me and you come off as very untrustworthy not that I would have even considered the trade to begin with.
