What happened? Description:

After lengthy discussion (2+weeks), he agreed to help me trade up my knife, walking me through the process. Having good rep and proof he helped other players trade their knives up, I felt like it was safe to trust him. Once I sent the knife and two helper skins over, I was unfriended and blocked. This was unexpected as his profile has many reputation comments, so he looked like a nice guy. I cannot provide a screenshot of the chat window as I talked to him on the website and not the client. Also since I was blocked by him I cannot provide the chat logs. I know my items are lost for good but I don't want people to fall victim to this scammer, as he will wait weeks to trade, even give advice.​

Like I mentioned above, I don't care about the skins. I made a mistake, but I don't want people to think this guy is legit. I have come across many scammers in the past, but this guy really went all-out to convince you he is friendly and trustworthy.
