What happened? Description:

This guy added me from CSGL, asked me to go to TeamSpeak 3 when I connected to the server he gave I got Host Message - "Error! You don't have the latest TeamSpeak 3 sound driver! Click here to Install" So, I have googled this message and instantly got link on steamrep with such situation. We are both from Latvia and we were speaking Latvian so I will duplicate whole conversation and it can be translated from Latvian to English.​

You can expand the chat window to be able to get more of it in each screenshot.

Unfortunately, steamrep no longer tags phishers. By their nature, a phisher has hundreds of accounts, most of them from previous victims of phishing. If they tag it, in a week the person gets their account back from steam support and then they clog up the appeals system here.

Actually, how he say, we are the booth from Latvia, so yeah, we are friends in Real Life and we are not friends anymore because i said him, he is idiot. That's the reason why he post this ''fake scam attemp'', i'm not scammers guys, and you don't have evidence, that chat windows is fake.

Once a chat is closed and the friend removed you cannot open the chat again.

The administrators here are not related to Valve. However, a scammer tag on SteamRep will create a ban on any website which uses the SteamRep API to check users. This is every major trading website for CS:GO, Dota 2 and TF2, as well as many betting websites and community servers.

Not saying anything about my opinion on the case, just stating the fact of the implications of being tagged as a scammer.

Typically the best way to prove innocence is with screenshots, but that can be understandably hard in a case like this.

JSuvoro scammed me today. The understanding was that he was to pay ~£50 for 3 CS:GO weapons. He insisted on going first due to his 'rep'. You can see he went offline after the trade was completed, which was the result of him blocking me. I tried adding him on a secondary account only to be immediately blocked. He hasn't responded to any messages over any platforms. The screenshots provide enough evidence.

You need to create your own scam report on him.

the suspect used the same way to scam my friend today. sadly I cannot report hijacking.
luckily my friend has the email protection so the scammer only sold the items on market and my friend cleaned up his pc.

I can confirm that after you click the file your account gets hijacked, sadly I got hijacked but they were unable to hack my email so I locked my account from there! TRUST NO ONE!!! THEY HACK YOUR ACCOUNT AND SEND MESSAGES TO PEOPLE FROM YUOR ACCOUNT!
