I found this guy selling games on tf2outpost so I contacted him and we ageed on a price of 20 keys for the game, we made the exchange in steam trade, my keys for his game (ie, not a gift or game code). Here is a link to his trade on tf2outpost: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3259999 What happened next was we made the trade, the first screenshot shows my trade history, the scammer's name and the deal of Skyrim for 20 keys, then I open the game from my steam inventory and install the game, I play the game and think everything's fine and had a good trade. But about a week later, my account is suddenly flagged by Steam Support because they think I have violated the steams terms of service, they have blocked all trading, gifting and game code activations, and Skyrim has vanished from my library! I've made a second screenshot to show that Skyrim isn't in my library or steam inventory anymore. I have managed to get in contact with other people he has scammed this way and we are pretty certain that he has sold us these games for our tf2 items and cancelled the payment on the games in some way. I am the only one with a flagged account though, I think it's cos I'm the only one who installed a revoked game. I'm going to get them to post here too. I have also sent a ticket to steam support about this, telling them everything I've said here and gave them the screenshot of the trade history. I am waiting to hear from steam support. Thanks very much in advance for any help.
I've also been scammed by Jesmar. I traded 10 tf2 keys for his copy of Torchlight II that was later revoked and removed from my game inventory. Here is a screenshot of my trade history: http://i45.tinypic.com/2itlsok.png
The scammer is using either a fraudulent credit card to make these game purchases or he is invalidating his payment to Valve. When Valve comes looking for the game that hasn't been paid for, they delete it from your inventory. Make a steam support ticket proving that you traded for Skyrim, and they will either return your items or add Skyrim to your account. Scammer marked, thanks for the report.
