    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198182365190

    Victim profile: 76561197987815569

    What happened? Description:
This user, http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198182365190 , added me and proposed to buy keys from me with PayPal.

He then sent a link to a Steamgifts rep thread of another person: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198046411497 .
He claimed it was his rep page; it was not. (See attached screenshots.)

Additionally, as of now, the impersonator's profile is fashioned to copy the impersonated profile: same avatar picture, username and and details text.

Since there is zero chance of someone fumbling with getting the URL to their own reputation page and at the same time also accidentally end up setting their profile to use the same username and avatar of the user which the wrong URL actually links to, it is unequivocal that his user had intention to defraud when he approached me.

(Infoblock of the scammer already in the top of the post.)

User the scammer is pretending to be: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198046411497
    | steamname: kakaska
    | steam3ID: [U:1:86145769]
    | steamID32: STEAM_0:1:43072884
    | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198046411497
    | customURL:
    | steamrep: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198046411497

    Provide Evidence:
The link the scammer provides in his chat message is http://www.steamgifts.com/user/kakaska/feedback , which does not belong to his account.

The hover text/status bar on each Steamgifts rep page (in the screenshots attached) shows the Steam account to which they belong.

Please ban this guy. He just added me to try the same.
Claiming to be someone he isn't. He gave me the link of kakaska (http://www.steamgifts.com/user/kakaska/feedback) claiming to be him. Then started to have doubts about going first since he has so much more rep then me.... yeah not! :D

    No doubts here, just ban!

    Khadgar, EpicShot, and Lazza,
If 76561198182365190 also tried to scam you, it is better if each of you create a separate report for your own case/occurrence.

P.S.: Lazza, by talking to you on Steam, it became apparent that you instead have been scammed by this user:
    | steamname: kakaska
    | steam3ID: [U:1:195485007]
    | steamID32: STEAM_0:1:97742503
    | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198155750735
    | customURL:
    | steamrep: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198155750735

So, when creating a report, please do take the care of getting the scammer profile link by clicking on his username in your trade history page.

P.P.S.: Additionally, it is worth noting that since both 76561198182365190 and 76561198155750735 have been impersonating kakaska in very close proximity in time, they might be correlated--either being alternate accounts of the same person, or two accomplices coordinating their scamming activity.
