What happened? Description:

I got a friend request from this user and he asked to buy my knife. It was odd because he didn't have any items. They offered an m4a1-S Hyper which was strange because my knife is a stattrak safari mesh gut knife Field Tested which is 3 keys less than the hyper beast and hard to sell. They claimed they would buy from the market and or had a person to get it from. Than they started to say that they needed steam/valve to check my item. After about 5 minutes he brought in this guy named Hunny Boo Q. His profile seemed legitimate but I already could tell this was a scam attempt. When this person joined he told me and ☯TqqRT | K.Fire&Ice+Lore+AkFS that my knife was "Steam/Valve verified" and tried to get me to trade it to him. Knowing their intentions to use a middleman scam I commented in the chat "I know what your trying to do." Soon after I blocked both people, reported them and I am currently working on reporting them both on Steamrep.​

Do you happen to have the records of the false middle-man's URL, and SteamID; as well, a screenshot of the accused's profile?

This is the person who was impersonating the valve employee

This person was coinciding with ☯TqqRT | K.Fire&Ice+Lore+AkFS with the idea to scam other players

I don't have enough prove to make this true but I think that the tv Fire and ice is an alt account of the valve employee impersonator

That "☯TqqRT | K.Fire&Ice+Lore+AkFS" tried to scam me too. But his name now is cAre. Him and his friend tried to. His friend took the idendity of "Rui" for trying to scamming me but I checked and his friend is banned of Steamrep. You have to stop these guys.

If you have other encounters with the accused, please make your own reports so that admins have an easier time tagging separate offenses. Tacking your reports onto this one only delays the process.
