same here. No real proof, except that it's a comon scam. He cut the conversation short when I asked him if it was involving me downloading a fishy version of mumble.

LMAO He tried to do the same thing to me. I think he was trying to do this to someone else at the same time, so he wasn't paying attention and said "yea" to everything. Nonetheless, this was indeed a failed hijack attempt. I sent the chat log below.

Well the ops report was missing alot but the screen you provided DarkNeoryn was good to have. Bad thing is we no longer support these types of reports or accept them.

    Phishing/hijacking account reports:
    • If you are phished/hijacked you need to make a steam support ticket ASAP https://support.steampowered.com/
    • Report phishing attempts to Valve by using the in-profile report system shown below
      • A lot of victims are not traders or even know they are marked on SR. Valve has made improvements to steam that mitigate the potential loss of items caused by phishers/hijackers; the original reason for tagging such users to begin with.
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accused's profile
    2. Click the MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view the animated gif that shows how to report a violation.

With that I'll have to archive the report. For those of you that
