" Me and Flynn had a deal that he would pay me 500€ my Poi shadows BoA over paypal as the picture down below shows. what happend was that he scammed me, and ran away"​

This is an awful mess of a report. I've been inadvertently dragged into it, so even at the risk of making things more complicated to whoever gets assigned this I feel obligated to add my two cents – sorry in advance if that's the case.

Prologue:
I've been added by Flynn last week whilst on a trip with my family and he had been offering his SBTWC BOA on a few of my hats.
Even being on mobile only, I did my due dilligence: almost 2 y/o steam account, 15 games, +1k hours on tf2, steamrep with no special reputation. Seemed a clean trader as far as I was able to check with my limited time.
However, after a couple days chatting and discussing possible deals, he asked me if I would be interested in an offer of Poisoned Shadows BOA plus SBTWC BOA for one of my hats.
Seeing as he didn't originally own the Poisoned Shadows BOA nor had anything else of value, I wondered how he would get that new item, so I confronted him about it.
He said he was going to buy the new BOA via paypal with some savings he had from last christmas (he mentioned €500 or €600, I don't recall), because it was his dream hat.

Related to the current report:
Now some of his new offers sounded fishy to me, because I'm yet to meet someone who are negotiating to buy their dream hat via paypal and start throwing it around in offers even before the purchase.
Therefore, I used my bp.tf premium account to search for Poisoned Shadows BOA owners and found one who was friends with him: Sneaky Noun
I added him straight away and gave him a brief warn about paypal scams, I was careful not to say for sure that Flynn was a crook, because I hadn no proof and could not be certain by then. Even so, I told him to be careful and advised him to use bitcoin and/or steamrep middlemen to minimize the risks of being scammed.
Below I attach the logs of this chat (and of our subsequent talks after he ended up getting scammed even after my warnings >_<).








Epilogue:
(This part of what I'm describing has nothing to do with this report, but I still feel like I should have it here as documentation, seeing as I have engaged in trading with Flynn – before he scammed Sneaky Noun)
The talks with Flynn had been going for a while on Steam Mobile, which still lacks a proper chat history. That's why, after this strange behaviour of offering an unknown Poisoned Shadows BOA, I logged into my computer back home via VNC and left the steam chat open so I could screenshot them later if it became needed (as it did).

In my opinion, what matters in the chat logs I'll post below is the following:
Before having proof that Flynn was a scammer, he had asked me to send a trade offer of my Burning Company Man for his SBTWC BOA, which I did – a fair trade in my opinion, since I paid 255 keys pure for my clean CM and the BOA was priced at 280.
He accepted the offer and on the next day he wanted me to trade back the Company Man for my Moon Modest + Power Surge Scrap Modest. By then I had already gotten confirmation by Sneaky that he was a scammer so I declined to engage in any further trading with him unless Sneaky was lying, which apparently he isn't.

As a last note, I've always felt we need to do more to inform people of scammer's Modus Operandi and risks.. But after reading these Sneaky Noun and Flynn chats above – after I warned him – I'm starting to feel like some people are gullible beyond salvation..

I like that video, its insane evidence of how Smeaky Noun was Scammed.
Also, I feel like those chat conversations might be "phishy" or something, but by far that is no proof (this is to Joelho and his essay)
And chat conversations are usually not insanely reliable honestly:

Warning. just letting you know. My first sentence with the video was sarcasm. I dont know if that link to the picture I posted works, but its just showing that anyone can rename themselves, change their profile pictures and make a faked Chat. Im just mentioning it, because its something that did happen before.
