What happened? Description:

I was in a heavy boxing tournament and Gam3rluna was the middleman. He claimed he took Pearl's, my opponent, hat and that I now had to give mine to him. I gave a 2 refined metal hat so me and him could box and the second they had it they laughed and laughed at me. They said they fooled me!!! I warned them that if they refused to give back the hat, they would be reported to steamrep. Unfortunately, both left the server before they even saw the warning and I have only Gam's steam id.​

I have found Pearl's Steam Id and information. Interesting, he seems to have never been reported unlike Gam.

Hey, why am I being reported? I was at no point on that server OR with the scammer. You've got the wrong guy. But if it makes you feel better, if you take down the report, I could give you a hat or two.

Like I said, I had nothing to do with this. Please take down the portion that reports me but please, keep the one up for the fake middleman.

Pearl's backpack history shows both owning minimap's greased lightning and a hero's tail (the hat traded to the fake MM as a fake bet) at around the time of the scam:

Pearl is also steam friends with the other accused, though that's not exactly evidence.

Hey, I have screenshot Proof that the scammer was an old friend impersonating me. I bought the hats off of Luna for another hat. He was impersonating me and never at any point had I scammed anybody. imgur.com/HC2zunB

Just posting here for clarity that Gibusmann's (Pearl) screenshot is a trade of a different greased lightning, not the scammed hat (pictured trade was several days after the scammed hat was already in Pearl's backpack). The "returned" greased lightning is this different lime-painted hat, the scammed hat being long since traded off.

The main discussion is on an /r/tf2trade appeal.

You claim you are not Pearl, the scammer, yet I found interesting information that backfires this.
In the images used to prove Pearl guilty, he had a Steven Universe character avatar. That avatar was an image of Pearl from Steven Universe.
On YOUR profile, Gam3RLuna, now Moonhorse, commented around the time of the scam stating your obsession with Steven Universe.
Pearl IS a character from Steven Universe and you had the same name according to the logs, Pearl, in the past.

Is it interesting how Gibusman has the same obsession with Steven Universe as Pearl?
Very interesting because this proves Gibusman is Pearl.
So why are you claiming you are not Pearl?

Final note:

Server logs show the victim and the two scammers all joining the same server on Aug 3rd, in direct contradiction to the above.

The most recent screenshot Pearl posted isn't from the Steam browser, which means it could have been easily and undetectably manipulated to show anything by editing the browser elements and therefore isn't acceptable as proof.

It's almost as if a lot of people like the show.

We're talking about Tf2 here. Not many watch the show.
