    A while back I trading for some things from a friend, unbeknownst to me this friend has scammed people in the past. Because I traded with him I am now marked as a scammer. this bad mark on my account makes people think i'm untrustworthy even though I have never done anything shady my entire time using steam.

    This all happened before I had a SteamRep account so I didn't get a warning, I just hope I can be forgiven for this.

    can you show your trade logs to show what you paid for the items from your friend?

    that way a Pardon on your SR tag will be easier for you to have it removed and for the admins to make it easier if they will remove it.

    It was a long time ago and I can' find any trade logs, but I thing he sold me either a silver botkiller mk.II scattergun or rocket launcher, I can't remember which and I have since sold it.
    he did gave me a discount, that should have been a tip off, I thought he discounted it because I was his friend, it turns out it was because he scammed someone for it.
