My brother, asked me, if it was a good deal, I obviously said, that yes, that's a good deal. But this guy right here, quickly swapped a s.sapper, and chang it to a normal one. My brother, haven't noticed anything and clicked accept. He didn't make any screenshots, because, why would he? Here is ss of my trade history, if it helps. http://i.imgur.com/noNM3.png?1
It is written in the trade chat when an item gets removed or added, why do people still fall for quickswitches? ... No offense
People believe trading is full of true and honest traders. So they shouldn't worry. Mewa do you have any screenshots of the agreement to trade a fast learner for a S. Sapper? It seems like an unfair trade but for all we know is that your brother could have wanted a normal sapper and when you found out about the incident you told your brother that he could have gotten a S. Sapper for the same price and that you made a quickswitch report on asdasdsada to attempt on getting back your Fast Learner. I'm not pointing fingers but in an unbiased opinion if their's not enough evidence then the story can be easily manipulated.
I don't have any of the screenshoots, because, my brother really didn't think that he even could get scammed, and he didn't post on outpost. Also, nobody would ever want a stock weapon for any hat/misc, no one is that stupid
But you do understand. No matter how bad the trade is. Without the proper evidence the story can be easily manipulated.
So if I don't have a screenshoot of this guy, then it counts as a fair trade, even though this is like 7 keys to nothing, right? Cool website, guys.
Think of this this way, if no evidence was needed to convict someone, a criminal could just point a finger at an innocent person and get him locked up. For all we know, you could be doing just that.
Wait a second, there IS an evidence of this trade taking place. And would you call a person who does a trade like a stock weapon for your 7 keys, innocent? even if there is no evidence of him offering the s.sapper, I think, that trading a stock weapon for anything can be considered scam itself.
At most, it would be considered sharking. Steamrep does not mark for sharking. Unless a chat log of him offering the s. sapper or a screenshot of him offering it in trade is provided, he cannot be marked.
This trade seems awfully familiar with my one. Luckily I didn't get scammed http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...1198070426296-robocoaknsajkas-pokaciuca.9928/ EDIT - THIS IS THE SAME GUY WHO TRIED TO SCAM ME!
http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/...1198070426296-robocoaknsajkas-pokaciuca.9928/ This is the SAME PERSON. I have a chat log with him offering a strange sapper. I also have the trade chat with him switching the s.Sapper to a normal sapper For my EA. Know , you could stop arguing about him not quick switching.
All I wanted was some evidence. For instance (and this situation has happened multiple times), if I sold you an unusual for paypal cash, I could then just paste the trade history here and say you switched out your "buds" even though you never actually offered them.
If everyone made a report that their trade went sour and called it quickswitch scam without any evidence. According to your theory the defendant is automatically guilty. I'm sorry. I know you want to increase your post count but, can you do it with at least some help to the OP and not be sidetracked.
But wait, guys, now there is evidence, right? So nothing more to discuss about it here, I think. Just let's let the admins do the work
What's gonna happen now is that if ebe's report gets accepted. Then, he'll be marked with quickswitch scam. Just that your report required more evidence but since asd has commited this crime before he'll be tagged when the admins get to his report. Please be careful next time. Don't let your any of your family members share with your account.
There isn't enough evidence showing a quick-switch scam here. We cannot mark this person without knowing the circumstances of the trade. They could have theoretically agreed to the chat. At most, this is a sharking attempt, but we do not mark for that. However, I see that ebe has submitted a report that gives the proper evidence to mark this person, so I will redirect a steamrep admin to that thread instead of this one.
