What happened? Description:

After being scammed by a high profile scammer/imposter of high profile people I was able to uncover some business done between Skyd1ddy and a scammer.​

Backstory: I had added an imposter (not knowng he was impersonating) for cash trading. I was mislead he was the owner of CSGOWILD (he currently impersonates another account but previously did). I ended up trading with him and as soon as he recieved my items he removed me and blocked me. After doing some thorough research and digging, it appeared he is a very high profile scammer who impersonates high profile people in attempt to swindle them for their money.

The KEY factor as to why I believed he was real, was because on his friends list he is friends with people like Whiteeagle (owner of CSGOJackpot) Skyd1ddy, and many others. So my friend added him to try to maybe find out a little bit more about him, and my friend asked how he had managed to have people like skyd1ddy added, he said something along the lines of how do you think I sell my stuff?

Previously to getting scammed, Skyd1ddy not only started buying skins from the same guy I was buying from, but undercut my #1 buyer by 1% to steal him from me. So I decided to pursue the issue and find out more about this guy selling to Skyd1ddy. I re-added him back and got to know him a little bit better, and he had revelaed to me some proof of him affiliating with Skyd1ddy (which can be found in the video). Some might say this was ana ct in spite of revenge, but regardless of Skyd1ddy being greedy and getting every cent he can, I did this out of the heallthiness of the community. I don't tolerate people fronting themselves as an honest business man, because I value morals of ethics, but Skyd1ddy thinks differently. He said to me "Business has ethics". That is not false, but he completely disregards morals as long as he gets the most money he can. Screenshots of the chat can be found below.

Doesn't sound relevant I agree, though your vouch for Skyd1ddy's "morals" doesn't seem relevant either. There is hard evidence here.

I also understand if you follow the letter of the law then it comes to this. People generally can't be marked unless the person they were trading with was marked, but the reason the impersonator wasn't marked was due to negligence.

The post was made nearly two months ago, being backed by a SR mod, yet nothing has been done about it.

The guy was not flagged as a scammer on steamrep so from what I know he is allowed to trade with him all he wants all the guy has is a report

So because Steamrep neglects their reports and does not investigate or take actions for months, users can trade with scammers freely despite strong evidence in the reports?

Doesn't sound very legit to me. Skyd1ddy was buying off of scammers and there is strong evidence here, simple as that.

Chuffs, in the video you claimed that you commented on the scammer's profile on the 20th to add him, which you did, however, if you look at the comment section of the scammers profile, you commented to add him about a "business inquiry" 21 hours ago, and that you had a "proposal". Why would you add someone to talk about "business" when they just scammed you? Slightly curious

Yes i explained it in the video, after he scammed me he removed me and had no intentions talking to me, that was my attempt at saying something that would make him add me back, so I could talk to him about skyd1ddy.

I made a report over a year ago and nothing happened...

There busy many reports its not his fault he doesn't get right back to it

Here is my trade history from the dates that have been shown in the video where I apparently traded with the scammer and it clearly shows that I havent done any such trades. I havent traded since September 2015 for profit until 21st December 2015 when i bought items from the owner of csgodouble (FooBar), it has all just been something for my personal collection and gifts for/from friends. All my friends know that and even a few SR mods know that too. If any more proof is needed, I will happily give them here. You may also check my Inventory History from the dates displayed in the video on csgo.exchange and it clearly shows that no such items have ever come in my inventory. Looking forward to a reply from a mod.

Weird thing is Chuff's didnt report against the scammer that apparently scammed him for $3000 but instead took the time to talk to him for more than an hour Skype and figure all this stuff out about me. Just confusing.
